Warranty and certification questions are cheapest before the order and most expensive after delivery. This page lists the questions to ask, in writing, while the answers can still change what you buy. Certificates available upon request is the starting point; the questions below turn it into documents and terms attached to your order.
Ask which certificate documents apply to each named model in your configuration — panels, inverter and batteries separately — and receive them before you confirm, not with the shipment. Check that each document names the model in your quotation. A document for a sibling model is information about a product you are not buying.
Ask how warranty terms are stated for each component of the configuration, and have the answer written into the order documents rather than summarised in conversation. Components of one system commonly carry different terms; the time to learn which term belongs to which component is before payment, while the configuration can still be adjusted.
Documents, warranty answers, the final configuration and the load list it answers: keep them in a single thread or folder tied to the order. Years later, when a component needs attention, that folder is the difference between a claim and an archaeology project.
Before ordering, confirm the minimum order quantity and lead time for your configuration, and ask which documents apply to the exact system you are quoted.
